SUSTAINABILITY
2015
The Aim
- Select and consolidate options selected from Phase II to Phase V
- Site Specific - make use of the characteristic given by the sites
- Maintain the original program and function of the space
- Improve the spatial qualities and exaggerate its function
Design Concept
Making use of the T zone given by the site to create a micro-climate within the zone, to acheive passive cooling by water and vegetation, meanwhile anchoring the exterior with the interior. For the interior space, individual units were connected with another T zone formed by the stairs and terrace, which ultimately the T zones are then connected with the view from terrace.
Design Strategy
To exaggerate the communal space with the T Zones in the exterior and the interior. Meanwhile, exaggerate the private space by the pulling and pushing of a solid facade.
Phase I : Research Phase - Pop up book of sustainability
