Design Concept

Herbtopia is a combination of hospitality and traditional Chinese nourishment programme, while reinventing the spatial arrangement of hospitality design. Since striving a balance between two opposite is the major feature of this culture, herbtopia adopt the same design strategy through equilibrium as the architectual language within the hotel lobby and guestroom. Once the customers enter to the hotel, a large suspension cube with chinese herb stored could be seen.  It served as the focal point of the lobby and we utilize the texture, colour and scent of the chinese herbs to provide a harmonic, cozy and yet chinese atmosphere in sense of visual, taste and scent. Smell and the unique colors of the medical herbs have been experimented to create a relaxing atmosphere to integrate the Chinese medical culture with hospitality experience.
